Norregård´s history
You can find Norregård Hotel & Conference at the heart of old Falsterbo at Green Square. History has it that the manor house was built in the early-1700s. It was an extremely beautiful manor house with an incredibly elegant half-timbered facade. Apart from "Mårten's vannig", today's Green Square is home to the town's lively pubs. The manor house has undergone several restorations and extensions. During its renovation in 1930, a tarred door dating from 1737 by the town's museum was saved on its way to the landfill. It served as the first donation to Falsterbo peninsula's museum foundation. You can see it these days at Falsterbo museum on entering the museum's maritime hall. For many years, Norregård was the residential study centre and summer centre for the Swedish post office employees' union and the Swedish state employees' union.
